Football Italia is this morning reporting that Brazilian striker Robinho could be sold by AC Milan this summer.
The former Manchester City man had a difficult season last time out – scoring just six goals – and the Serie A club could be willing to listen to others.
Robinho is one of the highest earners at the San Siro of course and if he moved on, it could free up some budget for new players.
This news is likely to alert Malaga who have already had their interest in the striker made public.
According to Team Talk earlier this month, the Spanish outfit were eyeing up a bid for the 28-year-old.
However, it was also suggested that they couldn’t afford his services, so a return to Brazil for Robinho has also been mentioned.
Overall, it will depend on AC Milan’s stance. They have let several players go this summer and it will be interesting to see if Robinho is the latest.
As ever, where the talented striker moves to will attract plenty of attention and the player himself will want to prove critics of his performances wrong.
Things could move very quickly on this move with pre-season just a few weeks away, so don’t take your eyes off this one.
