Atletico Madrid keeper Thibaut Courtois has played down reports linking him with a move to Santigo Bernabeu.
The young shot-stopper, who is owned by Chelsea, has managed to prove his undoubted potential at Vicente Calderon and he is now regarded as one of the most promising keepers in Europe.
Impressive showings in La Liga and Europa League saw him linked with a number of high-profile clubs, including Real Madrid.
The player, however, claims he is not thinking about transfer speculation and is fully focused on doing well at Atletico.
“These things appear in the press, but I do not know anything,” the Belgian international told AS.
“To me the most important thing is Atletico, I am on loan from Chelsea and belong to the English club, but I am with Atletico and I am just enjoying myself.”
The 19-year-old arrived to Chelsea in a €9 million deal from Genk last summer, but was immediately farmed out on loan to Atletico Madrid.
Courtois has largely impressed at Vicente Calderon, helping los Colchoneros reach the Europa League semi-finals and remain in contention for a top 4 finish in La Liga.
The talented keeper amassed 30 La Liga appearances, while he also featured in 12 Europa League games this season.
