Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is going through some tough times at the moment. His team have practically fallen out of the La Liga title race after a home defeat to arch-rivals Barcelona, just a couple of days after another home defeat from the same enemy took them out of Copa Del Rey. Further more, they have been eliminated from the Champions League by Ajax, and that failure saw Santiago Solari replaced by Zinedine Zidane.
And one of the first things the Frenchman did was – drop Courtois for Keylor Navas.
However, the agony for the former Chelsea shot-stopper doesn’t seem to end there. In his country opening Euro 2020 qualifier, just two minutes after Youri Tielemans gave Belgium the lead, Courtois under pressure from Russia captain Artem Dzyuba, wrapped the equalizer up as a gift for Valencia winger Denis Cheryshev.

Fortunately for him, his former teammate Eden Hazard restored the lead later from the penalty spot and then scored another one to secure victory for Belgium.
