According to a recent report from Marca, Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has made it clear that he has never doubted himself during his run with the Spanish champions – despite his early form indicating otherwise. Courtois has now managed to go over 500 minutes without conceding a goal, leading many to believe that he is finally starting to come into his own with the club.
Whether or not he is able to maintain this momentum remains to be seen but one way or another, it’ll be a positive for Real fans to hear that he never had any doubts regarding his own ability.
Some believed that his poor run of form could cause Real to look elsewhere for a quick replacement, potentially David De Gea, but that no longer seems to be the case.
