Coutinho to stay at Barcelona?

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho is set to remain at the club during the summer transfer window – as they have not received any offers to try and sign the Brazilian. The belief is that they value him at around £110 million, which is probably why so many teams have been thrown off by the idea. Barca are trying to free up some space in order to try and complete the signing of Neymar, but at this moment in time, it really doesn’t seem like a deal for Coutinho is going to be all too feasible.

Liverpool would probably be the most interested club when it comes to making something happen, but even then, they clearly aren’t willing to stump up quite so much cash.

Perhaps if the fee was lowered then they could come to some kind of arrangement, but for now, it seems a bit like a no go.
