According to a recent report from Bild, Philippe Coutinho has confirmed that he is happy to stay at Bayern Munich and sign on a permanent basis during next summer’s transfer window. At this moment in time he is currently on loan from Barcelona, but his move can be made permanent to the tune of £100 million – depending on whether or not Bayern are willing to stump up the cash.
If it was up to Coutinho himself then he’d made the deal become a reality, but of course, there are plenty of variables involved in that too. His form between now and the end of the season will play a huge role in determining what the future is going to hold for the Brazilian as he continues to try and make a name for himself within the realms of European football.
He’s a notable name, but that just isn’t going to be enough anymore.
