Coventry City sign Everton striker

Championship outfit Coventry City have completed the signing of striker Lukas Jutkiewicz from Everton FC for an undisclosed fee. The 21 year old was initially supposed to sign on loan, but the Sky Blues later decided to acquire his services on a permanent basis from the Toffees.

Jutkiewicz has signed a three year contract with Coventry and becomes Aidy Boothroyd’s sixth signing of the summer. Coventry have already signed Lee Carsley, Gary McSheffrey, Richard Keogh, Roy O’Donovan and Stephen O’Halloran this season.

Southampton born Jutkiewicz joined Everton from Swindon Town in 2007. He has also undergone loan spells at Plymouth Argyle, Huddersfield Town and Scottish outfit Motherwell.
