Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon admits it is unlikely that Inter striker Hernan Crespo will join the club in January.
Reports have suggested that Crespo is close to joining the La Liga giants, who are looking for a replacement for the injured Dutch striker Ruud Van Nistelrooy.
“I don’t know about Crespo, but I don’t think he will arrive,†said Calderon.
“We’re concentrating more on our summer transfer campaign where we will buy two or three great players whom I’m sure will delight everyone – the fans and the shareholders.â€Â
Reports claim that Crespo was not happy with the contract offer he was handed by Real Madrid in primary talks between the club and the Argentine’s agent Fernando Hidalgo.
