The agent of Zenit defender Domenico Criscito has admitted that his client is ready to negotiate a January move to Fiorentina.
The highly rated defender is believed to be looking to return to Italian Serie A, but his representative recently expressed his doubts as to whether the interested sides will be able to match his salary.
However, Criscito seems to be ready to take a pay cut as Andrea D’Amico has suggested they are ready to open talks with Fiorentina amidst speculation linking his client with a January move to Artemio Franchi.
“We are ready to talk to Fiorentina without problems,” D’Amico explained to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Fiorentina have reportedly made Domenico Criscito their number one target as they search for a successor to captain Manuel Pasqual, and Viola plan to sign the player at the earliest opportunity.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Artemio Franchi outfit are even prepared to include Facundo Roncaglia in the deal.
