Serbia and Portugal played a 2-2 draw in Belgrade in the second round of Group A of the World Cup qualifications, with Diogo Jota scoring twice for Portugal only to see the lead flattened by Aleksandar Mitrovic and Filip Kostic after the break.
In the final seconds of the match, Cristiano Ronaldo put the ball on goal past Serbia goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic, but Stefan Mitrovic cleared it off the line, as well as the follow-up from Bernardo Silva. Believing that his shot had crossed the line, the Juventus star protested fiercely with the linesman and picked up a booking, before storming off the pitch and down the tunnel.
What drama at the end of Portugal vs Serbia. Ronaldo scores but no goal line technology. pic.twitter.com/wa6ZgFp2qd
