Cristiano Ronaldo was left out of the Manchester United squad for the 1-1 draw against Chelsea on Saturday, as a result of his refusal to come on as a late substitute in the previous match, a 2-0 triumph over Tottenham Hotspur, and the fact that he stormed down the tunnel instead.
However, the Portuguese forward is set to be named in the squad on Thursday, when Erik ten Hag picks his team to face Sheriff Tiraspol in the Europa League.
🗣 “Cristiano will be in the squad tomorrow.”
