Brazilian-born forward Eduardo da Silva has been called up for Croatia’s friendly with Romania in February, eleven months after breaking his leg while playing for Arsenal.
The player fractured his leg in a Premier League match against Birmingham City on on February 23rd but recently began playing games with the Arsenal reserves team.
“Eduardo is ready and he will definitely play against Romania,” Croatia manager Slaven Bilic said. “I talked with Arsene Wenger and he agreed. Eduardo will play for 30 minutes or one half.
Since 2004, Eduardo played 22 matches for Croatia and scored 13 goals.
