Croatian defender talks up Inter move

Dynamo Kiev centre-back Domagoj Vida has made it clear that he would love to join Inter Milan amidst speculation linking him with a move to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

The Nerazzurri coach Roberto Mancini is far from happy with his defensive options and he is looking to add more quality players to his back line.

And after the recent reports suggested Inter could make a move on Dynamo Kiev player Domagoj Vida, the Croatian has revealed he is flattered by the reported interest from Italy.

“I do not know if I am followed by Inter, but it is certain that I would love to wear the Inter jersey, very much so,” the 25-year-old told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

And with his international teammates Mateo Kovacic and Marcelo Brozovic already at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, Vida would find quite a few familiar places should he arrive in the summer.

Inter Milan slipped to tenth in the Serie A standings as they suffered a narrow defeat to high flying Sampdoria, and the Nerazzurri have been made 1/5 favourites to see off bottom-placed Parma next weekend.
