Dutch legend Johan Cruyff believes that Josep Guardiola could leave Barcelona at the end of the season.
The manager of Catalan national team would not be surprised to see Guardiola leave Camp Nou after the Champions League final.
“Guardiola has been working very hard these years and I wouldn’t be surprised if he leaves, regardless of the outcome,” Cruyff told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“If he leaves, it would only be because it is very difficult to withstand certain long-term pressures. So I think he would stay for another year.”
Cruyff also said that he saw his compatriot Marco van Basten as an “ideal coach” to replace Guardiola.
