Competition: Premier League
Market: Crystal Palace to stay up
Odds: 2/9 @ Bet 365
Crystal Palace have enjoyed a fantastic summer transfer window which has culminated in the signings of Christian Benteke and Loic Remy to bolster their weak strikeforce. The Eagles have made a worryingly poor start in the Premier League, but should turn their form around when the new boys settle at Selhurst Park.
Palaace are currently 17th in the Premier League table with just one point from their first three games. The London side suffered a narrow defeat at home to West Bromwich Albion, before losing their second game away to Tottenham Hotspur. Most recently, Alan Pardew’s side drew at home with Bournemouth and are desperate for a turnaround.
The Crystal Palace manager has long insisted a lack of prolific goalscorers capable of spearheading the attack is the reason for the last of goals, and now the Eagles have signed target man Benteke and powerful striker Loic Remy, goal droughts should be a thing of the past for Palace supporters.
Despite being just one place above the relegation zone, Palace shouldn’t be near the bottom-three come May, and Bet 365 are giving odds of 2/9 for Crystal Palace to stay up in the Premier League.
