Odds: 4/7 @ Bet 365

Crystal Palace host Sunderland in the Premier League tonight at Selhurst Park, and are hoping to pile the misery onto the struggling Black Cats by picking up all three points.

Alan Pardew’s side have enjoyed a bright start to the new season, while their relegation-threatened opponents Sunderland are languishing in the bottom-half. Palace have been a bit more human on home soil, but with Sunderland having the worst away record in the league, the Eagles could well take maximum points in their own backyard.

Comfortably top-half in the Premier League early on, while getting themselves back to winning ways after a mini slump in form, Pardew’s Palace side have won six outings so far this season. Sunderland are without a win on the road this season, picking up only one point away from home, so the Black Cats could endure a difficult evening against a pacey Palace side.

New manager Sam Allardyce has breathed life into the Sunderland side, winning one and drawing one of his last three games in charge, but they still have defensive flaws that could be exploited by their London opponents.

Sunderland have the worst defensive record in the Premier League, and are coming up against a Crystal Palace side who have picked up results against the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool this season. As a result, Bet 365 are giving odds of 4/7 for Crystal Palace to see past Sunderland in the Premier League tonight.
