It has already been reported that Tottenham Hotspur are planning to recall Jack Clarke from Leeds United due to the unfortunate circumstances regarding the player’s lack of time on the pitch. Rumour now has it that, should that indeed happen, Crystal Palace and West Ham will be queuing to sign the 18-year-old, reports Express.
The winger attended Leeds United football academy and was sold to Spurs this past August for a reported £10 million. Although his contract with Spurs lasts until 2023, as soon as the club got him Clarke went back to Leeds on loan, which was part of the deal which got him to Tottenham in the first place.
However, Spurs’s boss Mauricio Pochettino is unhappy that Clarke has only played two Carabao Cup games so far and the club are considering recalling the youngster via the release clause in his loan deal. Should this happen, Clarke will immediately go on loan again, and Palace and West Ham, who were interested in signing Clarke in summer, will try to get their hands on him in the January transfer window. It has been reported that Everton are also keen on signing the talented player.
