Crystal Palace fans should give a lot of credit to Roy Hodgson for turning their season around and dragging them out of the relegation zone. Add to that the fact that Christian Benteke can’t hit a barn door, and that achievement looks even more impressive, even if the Eagles do only sit three points above the drop zone.
Unsurprisingly Hodgson is looking to bolster his squad in this January transfer window in preparation for a survival bid, and the striker position is one that’s in the spotlight. Inter Milan’s Eder is the name at the top of their shopping list, according to Sky Sports, and he could be a sensational signing.
The Italian international is in his third season at Inter, and has failed to really make an impact with the Italian giants thus far. He has just one goal from 16 substitute appearances this season, but has established himself as a reliable goal scorer during his time at Sampdoria.
