According to a recent report from Sky sources, Premier League side Crystal Palace are refusing to sell Wilfried Zaha to Arsenal – unless their £80 million valuation is met. This will come as no surprise to fans who have been actively following this transfer story, as it has seemed obvious for quite some time now that the Eagles are going to do everything within their power to keep hold of the popular Ivory Coast international. The club are said to be under no major pressure to sell him due to the fact that they’ve already sold Aaron Wan-Bissaka, in a move that was able to generate upwards of £50 million for the club.
Zaha, though, has even deeper roots within the club, which is probably one of the primary reasons why it’s going to take a really special effort to lure him away from Selhurst Park.
Whether or not that special effort takes place during the current summer transfer window remains to be seen.
