Newcastle United and Serbia striker Aleksandar Mitrovic could be in line for a Premier League return in the January transfer window.
Mitrovic was already linked with a move to Porto just weeks after Napoli and West Ham were credited with interest in the 22-year-old former Anderlecht and Partizan forward, but a Premier League move is now on the cards as well.
Aleksandar Mitrovic has lost his place in the pecking order at Newcastle United this season as Rafa Benitez prefers Mo Diame and Ayoze Perez behind his first-choice striker Dwight Gayle and the Serbian is reportedly eyeing a move from the Championship club.
The Guardian journalist Ed Aarons has today spread the word on the latest transfer rumours linking Premier League clubs Crystal Palace and Swansea City with a move for the Serbian international.
Mitrovic is reportedly a £15 million target for the two sides who are desperate to improve their scoring exploits in the second part of the Premier League season.
Newcastle striker has so far made only 4 starts under Rafa Benitez in the Championship.
The 22-year-old striker still managed to score 3 league goals and 2 more in the League Cup.
