According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Crystal Palace are not going to be considering any offer that is less than £50 million for Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Manchester United are said to have had a bid of around £40 million turned down last weekend, with the expectation being that they are going to return with another offer. Wan-Bissaka himself is apparently eager to try and get the deal done, but of course, he’ll need to think about the past, present and the future. Wilfried Zaha has had his own experience with a move to Manchester United, and he’ll be the first person to tell you that it didn’t quite work out as well as he would’ve hoped.
Palace are aiming for a top half finish next season, and if they want to try and cement their status in that manner, they’ll need to work for it. Selling AWB is a risk, but as long as they re-invest smartly, they’ll be fine.
