Crystal Palace are interested in signing Eddie Nketiah from London and Premier League rivals Arsenal in the January transfer window, according to The Daily Mail. The report has claimed that Palace have already made an inquiry about the striker which has been turned down by Arsenal.
Nketiah has made nine starts and nine substitute appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal so far this season. The 24-year-old striker has scored five goals and given one assist in those games. The Englishman has also scored one goal in four UEFA Champions League matches and has given one assist in two Carabao Cup ties.
Palace are 15th in the Premier League table at the moment with 18 points from 19 matches, three points above third-from-bottom Luton Town, who have played 18 games. Meanwhile, Arsenal currently find themselves second in the Premier League table with 40 points from 19 games, two points behind leaders Liverpool.
