Crystal Palace want to sign Giroud

Olivier Giroud is getting closer to a move away from Chelsea, but it still remains unknown where he would go in such scenario. According to media reports in recent days, one of the interested sides is Inter Milan, as Antonio Conte is reportedly eager to see him part of his squad.

But today another rumour broke out, suggesting that Crystal Palace are preparing to launch a January bid for the Chelea striker. According to the Express, the Premier League side want to improve their attacking options as they have been struggling with goalscoring for quite some time.

However, the Frenchman’s £7 million per-season wage demands may end up being too big of an issue for Palace, with the Blues also set to ask for a £5 million fee. Besides Inter, Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with Giroud, who has only featured in four Premier League matches for Chelsea since the start of the season.
