CSKA Moskva are back in second place after an important 1-2 victory at FK Khimki.
Berezoutski broke the deadlock for the Muscovites in the 32nd minute, and Mamaev netted a second eight minutes after the hour mark.
Khimki, who are fighting against relegation and getting closer to losing that battle, got one back as Berezoutski scored an own goal in the 90th minute, adding himself to the short list of players that scored for both sides in one game.
CSKA have 44 points from 24 games, seven points less than leaders Rubin Kazan. Dinamo Moskva follow at another point in third place.
