CSKA Moscow are keeping close tabs on HNK Rijeka striker Andrej Kramaric, reports Russian daily Izvestia.
The Russian club have been closely monitoring the player’s performances over the last few months and they have been impressed by the 22-year-old forward.
Given that the Army Men are in need of attacking reinforcements, chances are they will make their interest concrete as early as January.
Andrej Kramaric came through the youth ranks at Dinamo Zagreb, but he was never given a real chance to impress at Maksimir.
The youngster returned to his parent club this summer following a very successful loan spell at Lokomotiva and he went on to score 2 goals in first 4 league matches.
Nevertheless, the club chiefs opted to cash in on Kramaric on transfer deadline day after he publicly complained about the lack of first team opportunities.
HNK Rijeka eventually won the race for the striker’s signature and they are expected to turn a nice profit in the near future.
