CSKA Moscow are considering a January bid for Gremio forward Weverson Leandro, according to Izvestia.
With Keisuke Honda set to leave the club in the winter and Seydou Doumbia also linked with a move away from the club, the Russian giants are on the lookout for attacking reinforcements.
According to Izvestia, they have made Gremio striker Weverson Leandro one of their top targets in the January transfer window.
The 20-year-old is currently on loan at Palmeiras, where he has been in scintillating form, and given that his contract at Gremio is due to expire at the end of the year, chances are he will be leaving Brazil for a European adventure.
Clubs from Italy, Portugal and Ukraine are also keen, but CSKA appear to be leading the chase at the moment.
Weverson Leandro has scored 14 goals in 31 league matches during the loan spell at Palmeiras, proving Gremio chiefs were wrong to let him leave the club.
