CSKA Moscow hope to sign Chelsea midfielder Marko Marin on loan until the end of the season, according to Izvestia.
Marin, 23, has only made a handful of appearances for the Blues since his arrival from Werder Bremen and is widely tipped to be farmed out on loan during the winter transfer window.
Russian newspaper Izvestia understands that CSKA Moscow are ready to offer the player an escape route from Stamford Bridge and sign him on loan until the end of the season.
The Russian giants have an excellent relationship with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich and hope that will give them the extra edge in the race for the player’s signature.
Marin’s representative admits the player is hoping to leave the club on loan and claims he has already received several offers.
“I will not hide the fact that Marin has several interesting offers of a loan until the end of the season,” agent Fali Ramadani told Izvestia.
“I cannot name clubs, but I can say that the offers come both from Western and Eastern Europe.”
Marko Marin has made just four Premier League appearances for Chelsea this season, and another five in Cup competitions.
