(GSM) – CSKA Moscow and Zenit St. Petersburg stayed unbeaten through four games of the Russian Premier League season with wins over Alaniya and Lokomotiv Moscow, respectively.

CSKA stormed out of the gate for a 3-1 win in Vladikavkaz, Guilherme bagging the opener for the Moscow side after just seven minutes.

Milos Krasic made sure the momentum was with the visitors going into half-time, when he made it 2-0 to CSKA just before the break.

Sergei Kuznetsov pulled a goal back in the 57th minute for Alaniya, but Alan Dzagoev’s penalty in the 70th minute restored CSKA’s two-goal advantage for good.

Meanwhile, in St. Petersburg, Zenit had a tougher go of things in a 1-0 win over Lokomotiv.

Zenit were frustrated in the first half by the visitors from Moscow, but Vladimir Bystrov finally broke the deadlock with a goal for Zenit in the 54th minute.

Zenit were made to work for it, but they held on to claim the three points.

League leaders Spartak Nalchik can go three clear at the top on Monday with a win when they travel to Rubin Kazan.
