Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has improved his goalkeeping options by snapping up Chelsea shot-stopper Carlo Cudicini on a free transfer.
The 35-year-old had been Chelsea’s second longest-serving player, having been at Stamford Bridge, initially on loan, for almost a decade. He made 141 Premier League appearances for the Blues but spent most of the last four years on the substitute’s bench with Petr Cech the regular first-choice keeper.
