Cutrone happy to leave Wolves

According to a recent report from Sky Italy, Wolves forward Patrick Cutrone has said he’s happy with the prospect of making a move back to Italy.

Cutrone has had a few nice moments at Molineux during his stint with the Black Country club but he’s largely not been able to capture the imagination of the fans – outside of the chant they created for him.

He now looks set to make the jump back over to Italian football with the belief being that he will switch lanes and join Empoli on a loan deal.

Patrick Cutrone will likely go down as a cult figure with Wolves for as long as he decides to stay on the books there but if he’s serious about furthering his career and taking that next step towards being an elite striker, he really does need to consider his options – because another loan just feels too temporary and uncertain.
