Internacional’s Leandro Damiao says he is the subject of a 25 million-euro offer from Tottenham Hotspur, but may prefer Paris Saint-Germain.
Brazil international Damiao has impressed in the past two seasons, attracting interest from Liverpool and PSG, as well as Spurs.
The 22-year-old spoke to Telefoot about his future, saying: “All that I know is that Tottenham made an offer (25 million euros), but no offer from PSG.”
“I didn’t have any contact with (PSG sporting director) Leonardo. I just know him from World Cup 1994.”
The striker cited countryman Ronaldinho’s spell at PSG between 2001 and 2003 as the inspiration behind his interest in moving to the Parc des Princes.
“Ronaldinho with PSG, it was super,” Damiao said.
“Who knows? Perhaps that I will be one day there. Everyone dreams of this club.”
“In July, if there is a proposal we will discuss about it. But for now, I think just about my club and Copa Libertadores.”
