Dani Alves linked to Ligue 1 switch

Barcelona full-back Dani Alves has been the subject of interest from Paris Saint-Germain, Le Parisien has revealed.

The Saints are likely to stay without Christophe Jallet in the summer as his current deal runs until June 2015 and the player is unhappy at playing second fiddle to Gregory van der Wiel.

And with Dani Alves likely to be available for sale, the French giants are seriously thinking about recruiting the Brazilian defender.

The 30-year-old also has a deal until June 2015 and considering that he has yet to be offered contract extension, everything suggests he will be leaving Camp Nou at the end of the season.

Dani Alves has spent last six years at Barcelona, making a total of 181 La Liga appearances and scoring 14 goals in the process.

Despite winning the El Clasico derby at Santiago Bernabeu yesterday evening, the Catalans are priced at 2.75 (7/4) to defend the league trophy.
