Brazilian full-back Dani Alves looks set to leave Barcelona at the end of the current season, reports Spanish daily newspaper AS.
The experienced defender has just over a year left on his deal at Camp Nou and the mere fact he has not been offered a contract extension is enough to suggest the Catalans plan to cash in on him in the summer.
While still being an important player in Tata Martino’s side, Alves has seen his rapport with club fans deteriorate of late, and even his teammates are disappointed by some of his goal celebrations.
And with the player also looking forward to a new challenge, everything suggests he will be leaving come end of the season.
Dani Alves has enjoyed six very successful seasons at Camp Nou, making 179 La Liga appearances for the Catalans and winning four league trophies and two Champions League titles in the process.
