Barcelona defender Dani Alves is wanted by an unnamed Chinese football club, who are willing to propose a mega offer to make the Brazil international latest world-class star to come to China.
Following the transfer of Jackson Martinez from Atletico Madrid to Guanzhou Evergrande, Mundo Deportivo has revealed that Chinese Super League could land another high-profile football star this winter.
It is reported that Dani Alves has received an offer from a still unnamed Chinese club, who are offering lucrative three-year deal worth €12 million per season.
Mundo Deportivo reports that the offer was proposed to Dani Alves himself and not to Barcelona, as they were willing to check if the player was interested in making a move east before opening negotiations with the Catalan club.
Dani Alves has signed a new deal with Barcelona at the end of last season and is due to stay at the Camp Nou until 2017, with an option to extend his stay for another 12 months.
Chinese transfer market closes on 26 February and there is still plenty of time for things to change.
Chinese clubs are reportedly also interested in bringing Arda Turan from Barceona, but the player’s agent has denied the claims.
