Onda Cero is reporting that Brazilian full-back Daniel Alves will be offered a contract extension at Camp Nou.
The player’s current contract is due to expire at the end of the season and while the Brazilian is expected to leave next summer, the Catalans do not want to lose him on a free transfer, with Juventus reportedly pondering a Bosman move.
As a result, Barcelona will attempt to tie down Alves to a new deal, which is likely to be a one-year or two-year extension.
It remains to be seen whether the defender will be interested in staying at Camp Nou given that the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are showing interest in his services.
Dani Alves, 31, has spent last six years with Barcelona having joined in a mega money deal from Sevilla, and has so far made a total of 191 La Liga appearances and scored 14 goals.
