Portuguese daily newspaper A Bola understands that Sevilla are keeping close tabs on Sporting CP starlet Daniel Podence.
The 22-year-old has shown a great deal of potential since coming through the youth ranks, and he largely impressed during last season’s loan spell with Moreirense.
Even though he missed a large chunk of the current campaign through injury, Podence did well to produce 8 assists in 20 competitive outings, and his promising showings did not go unnoticed.
According to A Bola, Sevilla are weighing up summer bid for the youngster’s services, but they have yet to come forward with an official proposal.
It remains to be seen though whether Sporting CP will be ready to entertain offers for one of their hottest prospects who still has a lot of room for improvement.
