Sport Mediaset understands that there are several high profile clubs showing interest in Juventus defender Daniele Rugani.
The 23-year-old joined the club from Empoli two years back, but hasn’t quite managed to prove his worth in Turin.
Having made just 22 Serie A starts in two years, Rugani was linked with a summer exit, and there were quite a few top clubs that came calling.
According to Sport Mediaset, Napoli, Zenit and Arsenal were all interested in signing the centre-back, but the Bianconeri didn’t want to sell.
With Leonardo Bonucci leaving and Andrea Barzagli nearing the final stage of his career, a space has opened up for Rugani and he in turn started the first three league fixtures of the new season.
