Dany Nounkeu makes a switch to Gaziantep

Turkish Super Lig side Gaziantepspor have announced the signing of defender Dany Nounkeu from Toulouse for an undisclosed fee.

The 24-year old have signed a three-year contract with Gaziantep and was given the number 13 jersey at the new club.

Cameroonian international had only signed for Toulouse last summer, and he was considered to be a back-up player at Stadium Municipal, although numerous injuries to key defenders saw him feature no less than 17 times in Ligue 1.

Nevertheless, seeing that Nounkeu failed to command a regular place in Alain Casanova’s side, he was allowed to leave the club and continue his career in Turkish Super Lig.
