Darmian could join Inter Milan

According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, Matteo Darmian could wind up leaving Parma during the January transfer window – despite the fact that he’s only just arrived. He would be doing so in order to join fellow Italian side Inter Milan, with Alessandro Bastoni moving to Parma on loan as part of the potential deal.

Darmian has only recently made the move away from Manchester United, where he had a pretty mixed spell. It seemed as if he started off really brightly, only to tail off towards the latter end of his run.

He had the potential to be one of the best defenders in the Premier League at times but it just didn’t quite happen for him that way, but now that he is back home in Italy, there’s every chance that he could give his career the kind of boost that he requires after a few questionable years.
