Chelsea could be set to make a move for Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian, according to the Express.
The Italian full-back has fallen out of favour with the Red Devils since the arrival of Jose Mourinho with the Portuguese not naming him in any of his match day squads thus far.
Last season, he made thirty-nine appearances in all competitions with his one and only goal coming in a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace back in April.
Internationally he has been capped twenty-eight times for his country with all but four of those appearances coming under Antonio Conte who was named as Chelsea manager in the summer.
Chelsea currently sit one place and one point above United in the Premier League after extending their unbeaten record with a 2-2 draw against Swansea City.
They can now be backed at a price of 11/2 to reclaim the Premier League trophy from Leicester City.
