Darwin Nunez fine strike sends Liverpool into Carabao Cup quarterfinals at Bournemouth expense (Video)

Liverpool beat Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup round of 16 on Wednesday, with Cody Gakpo opening the scoring in the 31st minute, Justin Kluivert equalizing for the Cherries in the 64th, and Darwin Nunez blasting the winner six minutes later.

The Uruguayan striker has now scored in each of the last three games in all competitions for the Reds has a total of seven goals and five assists in 14 appearances this season. It seems his confidence is growing, much to the dismay of the opposition defences, despite some glaring misses in recent games.
