The agent of Feyenoord full-back Daryl Janmaat has confirmed reports linking his client with a summer move to Napoli.
The 24-year-old is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most talented defenders and he is heavily being linked with a big club move.
Juventus, Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain have so far been credited with an interest in his services, but it appears Napoli are keen as well.
Janmaat’s agent Karel Jansen has moved to confirm that the Azzurri are keeping close tabs on the Netherlands international.
“Yes, the Azzurri are interested in the boy, but they are not the only club to have enquired,” Jansen confessed to Radio Crc.
“We have not received any formal offers up to date. Napoli, however, is a great club.”
Daryn Janmaat has spent his entire career in Dutch Eredivisie, playing for ADO Den Haag, Heerenveen and Feyenoord.
He has been in excellent form this season, having managed 2 goals and 5 assists in 29 league outings, and helping the club all but secure Champions League qualification.
Janmaat has also nailed down a regular starting berth in the Netherlands national team and he went on to start eight 2014 World Cup qualifiers.
