Austrian star David Alaba has found himself in the middle of hot transfer speculation with Real Madrid executives having already met with Bayern Munich player’s father George, according to reports from the Spanish media outlet AS.
Meeting have occurred in Vienna and Munich with Bayern Munich keeping their stance firm over Alaba unavailability, but the Bavarians are thought to be willing to consider any offer exceeding £60 million.
Real Madrid general manager Jose Angel Sanchez has been personally assigned with leading the transfer negotiations with Alaba and is convinced that Los Blancos will succeed in securing the signature of this highly rated footballer.
The 23-year-old Austrian international who revealed that he was an Arsenal fan growing up is a versatile player who can cover numerous positions on the pitch.
A talented defender is currently with his country at the 2016 European Championship finals playing in midfield position for Marcel Koller’s side despite being a natural defender.
David Alaba is contracted to Bayern Munich until 2021.
