Bayern Munich left-back David Alaba has been continually linked with a move away from Bavaria over the past couple of seasons.
The likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid have been mulled as potential new destinations for the player who spent his entire career with Bayern Munich.
The 25-year-old is under contract at Allianz Arena until 2021 but he told Austrian news outlet Kurier that he could consider leaving Bayern Munich for a new challenge.
“I am aware that I one day will have to make the decision, and I still feel great here. But I can also imagine taking a different path, making the next step or seeking a new challenge.”, Alaba said.
David Alaba has emerged as the Bayern Munich key figure for the past couple of seasons during which time he matured into one of the best left-backs on the planet.
He made 19 Bundesliga appearances for the Bavarians this season, adding one goal in the process. He also featured in four DFB Pokal fixtures this season and 5 Champions League outings.
