Daily Telegraph has revealed that Leighton Baines, Ander Herrera and Ilkay Gundogan are all on Manchester United’s shopping list.
The Red Devils are expected to make a real splash in the January transfer window as they look to get their title bid back on track.
And Daily Telegraph has suggested that the Old Trafford outfit will attempt to sign long-term targets Baines, Herrera and Gundogan.
Meanwhile, the club officials are set to open talks with superstar Wayne Rooney over a contract extension.
Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra should also be offered new deals, although the Frenchman has already suggested that he could be leaving at the end of the current campaign.
Manchester United seriously damaged their title hopes with back to back draws against Cardiff City and Tottenham Hotspur, and seeing as how they currently sit no less than nine points behind leaders Arsenal, it is hardly surprising the Red Devils are 10/1 to defend the league trophy.
