David Silva linked with Serie A switch

Spanish daily newspaper AS has suggested that Manchester City midfielder David Silva has suitors in Italian Serie A.

The 31-year-old has another two years left on his deal at Etihad Stadium, but he is not certain to be offered a contract extension.

According to AS, the likes of AC Milan and Inter Milan plan to take advantage of the situation and attempt to bring Silva to Italy.

David Silva may be interested in a new challenge having spent last seven years at Manchester City, scoring 39 goals in 226 Premier League appearances.

The Spaniard remains an important player in Pep Guardiola’s team, having started each of the six league games this term.
