David Beckham said one of his biggest goals at Inter Miami was to bring a big star from European football over to Major League Soccer and now it looks like that is very close to happening. According to Independent, David Silva will join Inter Miami in the summer of 2020!
They are claiming that the deal is very close to being confirmed, as Silva is set to leave the club next summer. His contract with the champions of England is ending on 30 June 2020 and from then on, he will be allowed to join his next club as a free agent.
Inter Miami are the latest franchise in MLS, set to start playing in March 2020, when the new season will arrive, but according to this report, they will not have Silva in the first part of the season. He will move to Florida in the summer, as the face of the franchise, but also as one of the faces of the whole MLS.
