Davie Selke linked with Premier League move

German media outlet Sport Bild is reporting that several top clubs are hot on the trail of Red Bull Salzburg forward Davie Selke.

The 21-year-old had an important role to play in helping the club gain promotion to the Bundesliga, but he has found his first team chances severely limited this season.

Selke only started one league fixture this term, while making another nine substitute appearances, but he did well to register two goals.

Nevertheless, the talented forward is being heavily linked with a January exit, with four clubs currently after his signature.

Borussia M’gladbach and Bayer Leverkusen will offer Selke a chance to remain in Germany, whereas Leicester City and Stoke City hope to lure the attacker to England.

The forward represented Die Mannschaft at the 2016 Summer Olympics, netting two times in five appearances, whereas he has 7 goals in as many outings for the Under-21 side in the European Qualifiers.
