Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies is set to dip into the loan market as he looks to maintain his side’s promotion push, Sky Sports understands.
However he will wait until the middle of this month before making any move, so that any potential new additions will be available for the remainder of the campaign.
One area the Scot is set to look at is midfield, where the East Midlands club, who have not lost since Reading beat them back in November, have suffered a double blow in recent weeks.
England U21 international Henri Lansbury has been ruled out for three months with a back injury while David Vaughan, who returned to the club on loan for the rest of the season on transfer deadline day, has been side-lined for a similar period with a knee problem.
Forest, who are currently fifth in the Championship, five points behind second place Queens Park Rangers take their unbeaten run to Huddersfield Town this evening.
