Davies focused on Swans survival bid despite Atleti interest

Swansea City defender Ben Davies has admitted that he is flattered to be linked with a move to La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid, the Mail Online understands.

The 21 year old has drawn attention from a number of Europe’s elite clubs since breaking into the Swans first team last season, and Atleti are the latest to throw their hat into the ring.

Premier League trio Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal are also interested in signing the Wales international, though he has stressed that he is focussed on one thing and one thing only – helping to guide the South Wales side to Premier League safety.

Swansea currently sit in fifteenth place in the English top flight, three points clear of the bottom three with four games left to play.

They travel to a Newcastle United side who have lost their last four games without scoring on Saturday afternoon, and the away win is priced at 31/20.
